Leading Industry Report Highlights Janam's Success
Woodbury, New York — January 6, 2010 – Janam Technologies LLC, a provider of rugged mobile computers that scan barcodes and communicate wirelessly, announced today that leading IT research firm Gartner, Inc. rated Janam “Promising” in their latest MarketScope for the ‘Ruggedized’ Handheld-Computer Market industry report.
According to the report, Janam’s customer satisfaction scores are higher than the industry average, and Janam is one of the few vendors in the market whose sales rose during the past year.
“High marks for customer satisfaction and sales growth are significant performance indicators in any year,” said Harry B. Lerner, CEO of Janam. “To achieve this during a year of global recession is particularly satisfying and another solid indicator of Janam’s ability to deliver world-class products and services to our customers.”
Gartner evaluated selected vendors on seven criteria: Customer Experience, Innovation, Marketing Execution, Marketing Strategy, Product Strategy, Product/Service and Sales Strategy. Of the ten rugged mobile computing vendors included in the report, Janam was among six that received a rating of Promising.
